Allin Kempthorne has been a full time professional entertainer for 30 years, performing at Holiday Camps, Tourist Attractions, Cruise Ships, Shopping Centres and Corporate Events in over 20 countries and several oceans.

He's known as Alan Thorn to the grown ups, but children everywhere know him as Gizmo! An incredibly popular children's magician, Gizmo combines his skills of Juggling, Magic, Balloon Modelling and clowning with an incredible wit, high energy and incredible attention to detail.

A hugely likeable performer ideal for walkabouts, street shows or compering for family and childrens' events.

As seen on TV shows from Blue Peter to The Basil Brush Show, Allin has performed at hundreds of shopping centres, at many top theme parks, holiday parks from Butlins to Haven and for corporate clients from British Airways to Microsoft.

He was featured on Britain's Got Talent as his character Professor Strange and was a finalist in the UK Family Entertainer of the Year Award 2022.

Allin Kempthorne performs a whole host of exciting acts and walkabout characters, performing magic, juggling, balloon modelling and general craziness.

Among the themes he can bring to your venue are Pirates, Christmas Elf, Clown, the Mad Hatter, a Magical Wizard, various Halloween characters, St George and the Dragon, plus he has a warehouse full of costumes and props for many more themes besides.
